Failing is hard, but it's also necessary. I failed two of my goals last year, one long-term, 2y goal, and a short-term goal, but I feel these failures shed more light on the direction I want to keep going.
Ambitions and ideas are all over the place, but execution and perseverance are rare.
Hey Kunal, congrats on 200 and great to see your progress and thinking, I definitely resonate with your post! I’ve wrestled with some of the same mental hangups. One thing I’ve found helpful is asking myself, “What would a person of equal competence as me, but who didn’t have these mental hangups do?” Usually it’s some variant of “they would just get going” and stop worrying.
“What would a person of equal competence as me, but who didn’t have these mental hangups do?” - That's great and simple way to make a decision and keep moving ahead. Adding it to my toolbox.
Well done Kunal! While a lot of this resonates my main takeaway was the I know the downside but have no idea what the upside could be. Which is exciting. Thanks for the little boost!
Well done Kunal, this is amazing progress. I feel so excited and proud of you and your progress. Taking the leap and pushing past the urge to overthink is no small task, not many get this far!
Thanks Justine. The journey is a long one and it is so nice to have supporters like you along the way. Hope things are progressing well for you at your end.
Another aspect that has been beneficial, though I've found it challenging to express clearly, is maintaining low expectations for myself. I am not working on cutting-edge technology or solving climate change issues. Instead, my sole focus is on building an independent lifestyle. This approach has significantly reduced the pressure I feel. It leads to less overthinking and more doing.
Interesting. Sounds like a scientific approach and whatever results are just confirming or infirming your hypothesis. The emotional attachment to the outcome is not as prominent.
Congratulations, Kunal, on the 200 purchases!

Thanks Akos. Exactly as you said, learning from failure is underrated. Good luck to you for 2024!
Kunal, which apps are in the mix? I've followed you journey with quite some interest.
I have SOAPNoteAI.com, DAPNotes.com and MassageNotes.com that generate revenue. This specific post referenced SOAPNoteAI.
What does SOAP stand for?
Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan. It is a standard documentation format used my healthcare providers.
Okay, I had no idea. It was unclear from the site too (unless you work in the industry).
Interesting, that's good feedback.

Exactly, a strategy that limits the downside and exposes unlimited upside is a win-win situation. It also helps handle uncertainties better.

First off, congrats on the 200th payment!
Not easy to navigate those emotions. Anything else that helped you change your mindset to embrace uncertainty apart from the Two-Way Door concept?
Thanks Kenny.
